The TAGDev 2.0 Team of the University of Port Harcourt hosted a meeting with representatives of partner institutions and organisations from across Nigeria on Friday 30th May 2025. The meeting which held at the Africa Centre of Excellence in Public Health and Toxicological Research (ACE-PUTOR), University of Port Harcourt was to review and finalize the Agrifood Systems and Entrepreneurship Centre (ASEC) Proposal of the TAGDev 2.0 Programme and agree on ground rules for their partnerships. In attendance were partners from University of Nigeria, Nsukka; Federal University of Technology, Minna; Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta; Bayelsa Institute of Entrepreneurship and Vocational Training, Yenagoa; Federal College of Education (Technical), Omoku; Agricultural Policy Research Network, Abuja (APRNet); Association of Deans of Agriculture in Nigeria Universities, Abuja (ADAN); Obanliku Rice Dealers’ Cooperative Society, Cross River State; Vintage Farms & Resorts, Elele; as well as Vitae Seeds Nigeria Ltd, Kano.

The meeting co-created innovative improvements to the ASEC Proposal, set ground rules for their partnership and agreed on implementation milestones. Partners departed for their respective institutions on Saturday 31st May, 2025.
